Curriculum Support

At Goulden Time, we understand that introducing or refining a Computing Curriculum can feel like a big step. That’s why we offer practical, friendly support designed to help schools bring computing to life — whether you’re just starting out or building on what you already have.

We work closely with schools to review, strengthen and embed computing across all year groups. From curriculum audits and planning guidance, to half-termly mentoring, our goal is to make sure teachers feel confident, Computing Leads feel supported and pupils are fully engaged.

Our Curriculum Support Services

We work alongside Computing Leads and school teams to help them deliver a confident, cohesive, and inspiring computing curriculum.

Our approach focuses on building lasting confidence — giving schools the tools, knowledge and leadership capacity to run with the subject independently.

All support can be provided in person within the Greater Manchester area or virtually for schools across the UK and beyond.

1

Curriculum Audit & Review

A detailed look at your school’s computing provision.

We work closely with the Computing Lead to review current coverage, progression, and staff confidence, comparing your provision with the National Curriculum and Education for a Connected World.
Together, we’ll identify strengths, gaps, and priorities — leaving your lead with clear, actionable next steps and a deeper understanding of how to drive improvement.

Ideal for: Schools wanting a clear picture of current practice and a roadmap for development.

2

Curriculum Initial Implementation Support

Ideal for schools introducing or adapting the Goulden Time Computing Curriculum.

We’ll support your Computing Lead in mapping a clear long-term plan, aligning topics to themes or projects and ensuring progression from EYFS to KS2.
Our goal is to help your lead take ownership of the curriculum, feel confident in guiding colleagues and embed computing across the wider curriculum.

Available as: Half-day or full-day in-person sessions, or virtual planning meetings.

3

Ongoing Mentoring & Support (Half-Termly Model)

A mentoring-based model designed to develop leadership capacity over time.

This six-day annual package offers one day of targeted support each half term, working directly with your Computing Lead to build confidence, subject knowledge and strategic oversight.

Typical focus areas include:

  • Curriculum implementation and mapping

  • Lesson observation, feedback and co-teaching

  • Assessment and evidence gathering

  • Online safety and safeguarding

  • SEND and accessibility in computing

  • Emerging technologies and AI in education

This structured, coaching-style approach helps schools embed the curriculum deeply and ensures Computing Leads have the mentoring and guidance they need to sustain success long after support ends.

Why Work With Goulden Time

At Goulden Time, we believe the best computing curriculums are the ones owned and led by the people who teach them every day.

That’s why our approach centres on empowering Computing Leads — giving them the confidence, clarity, and resources to lead their subject effectively and inspire others across the school.

Our curriculum and support are built by teachers, for teachers. Everything we do is grounded in real classrooms, shaped by the same challenges schools face, and designed to make computing both accessible and exciting for every learner.

Whether you’re strengthening an existing offer or building one from scratch, we’ll work alongside you to ensure your school’s computing curriculum is sustainable, progressive, and full of possibility.
